I totally get the glove thing now.

I mean, having gotten the sock thing, the glove thing wasn’t that far of a stretch…but this is my first ever pair of gloves, and I totally get it.  I love these gloves.  I haven’t even finished the first pair and I already want to start a second pair…for me, preferably.

Now, to be honest, I’m still not sure about mittens – I mean, it’s a great way to show off stranded colorwork, but I’m just not sure I’d ever wear mittens.  I’ve never worn mittens, hand knit or otherwise, and they always strike me as awkward and uncomfortable.  A place for every finger, and every finger in its place, you know?

But the gloves…oh, I’m loving the gloves.  I realize that I haven’t gotten to the tedious part yet, and that I may be singing a different song come the eighth finger, but for now…love.
